Bauernmarkt: Farmer’s Market at Epcot Flower and Garden Festival
Bauernmarkt: Farmer’s Market at Epcot Flower and Garden Festival offers heavy food than many of the other marketplaces. The food here highlights the fresh ingredients, like apples, that go along with many of the traditional German dishes.
Menu

- Beer Flight
The German meatloaf sandwich wasn’t what we were expecting at all. It was more like a spam sandwich. The breaded shallots were great and a nice contrast to the meatloaf. The sweet mustard added a good bit of flavor, which we liked.
Potato pancakes are a traditional, classic German dish. It’s topped with house-made applesauce which was nice but lacking a little in flavor. It’s part of the TRYit! options and we thought kids would love this one.
Our favorite items here was the savory bread pudding with sweet peas and wild mushroom ragout. It was amazing! Full of flavor and filled with mushrooms. The sauce was nice and cream and went really well with the bread pudding which was not mushy. If you like mushrooms, you must try this.
The beer flight features four beer, and not all of them German. The included beers are: Florida Avenue American Wheat Ale, Krombacher Hefeweizen, Goose Island Brewing Company’s Honker Ale and Blue Point’s Toasted Lager. We enjoyed all of the beers and found them to be perfect for this time of year. All four were light, flavorful and just what you want on a hot day.
Have you tried any of the items at Bauernmarkt: Farmer’s Market? Which items did you like?
