Epcot Food and Wine Festival will celebrate 20 years
This year will mark the 20th Epcot Food and Wine Festival and Disney World plans to make it even better. The festival will take place from Sep. 25 – Nov. 16, 2015. To celebrate, there will be new wine tasting, culinary experience and parties that will be built around this milestone.
So what’s new?
Some of the usual Marketplace booths will have new dishes, such as Pepper Bacon Mac ‘n Cheese at Farm Fresh, Scottish Citrus Thistle at Scotland, Seared Venison Loin with Wild Mushroom Ragout and Kumara Dumpling at New Zealand, and Grilled Sweet and Spicy Bush Berry Shrimp with Pineapple, Peppers, Onions and Snap Peas at Australia.
New artists will hit the Eat to the Beat Concert Series stage, including Tiffany (“I Think We’re Alone Now”), Everclear (“Santa Monica”), Maxi Priest (“Close to You”) and Chaka Khan (“I’m Every Woman”). The current schedule can be found HERE.
For kids (and big kids), there is Remy’s Ratatouille Hide and Squeak. Guests will be able to participate in a scavenger hunt for little Remy statuettes hidden around the World Showcase. Disney will be including maps, stickers and prizes. Hmm… wonder what the prizes will be!
And what’s returning?
Returning will be celebrity chefs like Cat Cora, Jamie Deen, Robert Irvine, Rock Harper, Buddy Valastro and John Ash (who participate in the inaugural year) will entertain foodies with new and returning special events, like the popular Party for the Senses. After a year hiatus, the Ocean Spray Cranberry Bog is back! Culinary demonstrations, beverage seminars, mixology seminars and Back to Basics will be at the Festival Center. The demonstrations and seminars cost a nominal fee and take place daily.
Chase debit and credit card holders will be thrilled to hear that the Chase Lounge is back. It’s a great place to relax, get out of the Florida heat and enjoy some complimentary beverages.
The following are included in Epcot park admission: Back to Basics series, Ocean Spray Cranberry Bog, World Showcase Scavenger Hunt, special book signings, Eat to the Beat Concert Series, cultural adventures and Marketplace Discovery Passport.

The starting date is incorrect in your post. The 2015 Epcot Food & Wine Festival is September 25.

It was a typo. Apparently the keyboard didn’t want to add that 2. Maybe it was wishing for it to start earlier. 😉
