Year of the Monkey at Nine Dragons Restaurant

Celebrate the Chinese “Year of the Monkey” at Nine Dragons Restaurant in the China Pavilion at Epcot. Guests can enjoy special menu offerings and a prix fixe lunch menu to celebrate now through Jan. 27, 2017.

The lunch special is a 3-course meal for just 17.98. It starts off with your choice of spring rolls or pot stickers. For your entrée, choose between Happy Family – sliced chicken breast, beef or shrimp stir fry; Moo Goo Gai Pan – stir-fried chicken breast, mushrooms and snow peas; or General Tso’s Chicken Buns Lunch Box with three steamed buns and hot-and-sour soup. For dessert, choose from strawberry-red bean or ginger-caramel ice cream.

Additions to the menu include three steamed buns – braised pork belly served with chili aioli; sweet-and-sour, batter-fried fish buns topped with pork floss; and General Tso’s Chicken buns with batter-fried chicken breast. Curious as to what pork floss is? It’s not the kind you use to clean your teeth. 😉 It’s dry, fluffy shredded pork seasoned with soy sauce and sugar.
